This week I learned a lot from the assignments. I feel like sometimes I rush too fast and guess on too many. I need to work on that. But one of the most interesting things I learned that I never knew was about when to say Whose and Who's I always thought that who's was possessive and it didn't always need to be "who is" to make it who's. I also discovered that I am very bad at being able to tell when it is he or she, not him or her. I remember when I was little and my mom would answer the phone, I would always hear her say "This is she." This made me frustrated I always just thought she should say "this is her." My mom taught me that it is not grammatically correct and I have remembered that ever since.
I have been looking for internships this week and as I was searching through linked in and spotted a grammar error.
"We announced last week our new line of product and the orders come pouring in already."
Which I thought was funny because he was kind of boasting about his product but he couldn't even use the right word... It should've been came, which is a pretty simple mistake but sort of funny.
Hang in there Hanna, I know you can figure out "he vs him". I also learned a lot about "whose vs who's." I use to always think adding an apostrophe always made the word possessive. It's been a really good experience.
