Week 1

INTRODUCTION:

 

My name is Aubrie Edgington and I am 22 years old. I live in Farmington Utah with my husband CJ and our mini golden doodle Bear. I am currently a Junior at Weber State University. I plan on getting my degree in Business Marketing. I did my first year and a half at Utah State University and then once I got married, I transferred to Weber State.  I own a dance studio in Layton called Just Dance.  I opened it in 2013 and I like to think that I have the best job in the world.  I get to teach kids every day and watch them improve each week they come to class. We offer ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, tumbling and cheer.  We take kids from ages 3-18 years old. I have eight amazing coaches that help me and I don't know what I would do without them. I have a huge passion for dance and have since I was three years old.  I danced all growing up. I danced at Luv 2 Dance studio then I made the Davis High drill team. I danced at Davis High for three years and then went on to dance up at Utah State University as an Aggiette. I was and Aggiette for one year and then got married in the Salt Lake Temple to an amazing guy.  My husband works for a company called Alder Security.  We have lived in Texas the last three summers and it has been quite the adventure.

We just build our very first home in Farmington Utah and we absolutely love it because we are so close to family.  My family lives in Fruit Heights and so does my husbands family.  I have an older sister who has two kids. I absolutely love my two nephews and enjoy stealing them on the weekends for sleepovers.  My sister owns a tumbling and cheer gym in Lehi and I look up to her. She is my role model and I hope to be the mom she is one day. My younger brother is currently serving a mission in Trujillo Peru. He has been out for a year and two months and we are on the count down for him to get home. My in laws have a family of nine. There are seven kids and my husband is the third oldest child. 

I enjoy the outdoors, fitness, traveling and hanging out with friends and family. My favorite color is pink. My favorite food is ice cream. My favorite movie is The Pursuit of Happiness. My favorite place in the whole entire world is Lake Powell. I have so many memories there and it is a tradition to go every year.  It is my escape and I love not having service and spending time with my family. I am the happiest when on vacation. I look forward to seeing new places. I am a bubbly, happy and social girl that loves to make new friends. I love living life to the fullest and laughing.  I live my life by thinking "Life is not to just be endured but to be enjoyed."
