Week 5.

There are a lot of great sites that help me with grammar. One that I particularly like is grammarbook.com. If you are looking to spend money, there is an option to purchase more quizzes to practice with. I feel that most of you will be overly satisfied with all of the free quizzes grammarbook.com has to offer. The great thing about the quizzes is that they are categorized into common groups. The quizzes provide wonderful practice in a broad array of topics. The quizzes are relatively short, and provide explanations for each answer. Grammarbook.com allows you to look up a specific grammar rule and see simple explanations and examples easily. After reviewing a specific grammar rule, the website allows you to take a direct quiz on what you just studied.

One of the mistakes that I have see is a spelling error. As shown in the picture the word “getting” is spelled with “t”s. The correct way to spell it is: “getting.”  We need to be more careful in our everyday writing, especially something that can be seen by the public. It is very easy for a boss to look up information about an employee through some sort of technology. I feel like the technology has lessened our ability to write it correctly, and yet it has increased our ability to see the mistake.

Attached is the picture of the mistake:
