Keela Disterhaft- Week 5

I hadn’t heard of this website prior to starting this class but now I use it a lot. It’s called Grammar Bytes! This website has been tremendously helpful to me in this class. It offers additional reading that goes along with our lessons each week.

The thing that I like most about this site is the fact that it offers quizzes. You can go through and take quizzes on dangling modifiers and it will tell you why you got it wrong. This has helped me a great deal with this last assignment. I feel as though I learn better by walking through the mistakes I’ve made.

This website also has a sense of humor which makes learning easier. Humor helps me retain the information better than if I were to only read a book. One last thing that this website offers, that I feel are really helpful, is that there are PowerPoints for a lot of the lessons.

The PowerPoints are very entertaining. They offer quizzes at the end of them and have little cheesy pictures to go along. I think that this site is full of a lot of useful information and is entertaining as well.

The mistake I found this week was on a blog site I found through Pinterest. I usually find a lot of recipes through this site and most are written by stay-at-home moms.

I would change it to: I must say that this Chicken Fajita Pasta recipe has become one of my favorites. Who doesn’t love chicken fajitas, cheese and pasta? The fact that there’s little clean up and it’s made in the crock pot is enough!
