Introduction: Justin Littlewood

My wife Paige and me in Ireland
Hi everyone!

My name is Justin Littlewood and I am somewhere in between a junior and senior at Weber State. I am getting my degree in Communications with an emphasis in Digital Media. I just have fall and spring semester left and I should be done. I currently work for ClearOne, and audio and video conferencing company, as a technical support engineer. I help audio technicians out in the field configure and troubleshoot conference room setups. I have a love of film and am looking to work in the field of video or film if I get the chance. I have grown up in Layton, Utah and would have gone to Northridge had I not found a different school that fit my needs.

When I was going to go into high school a new school opened up in West Valley that dealt in making videos. It was called East Hollywood High School, and all the elective classes dealt in making videos. There were audio developing classes, acting classes, and even animation classes all alongside the normal math, science, and English classes.

I started at Weber State almost 7 years ago. Through different jobs and going on and off to being a part time and full time student I am super excited to see the end of my college road approaching. One day in the future I would love to own my own production company making various types of videos.

I am recently married as of June 2015, and can’t believe I have found my someone who makes me happy and allows me to make her happy! We met on Tinder, which I know some of you may start judging, but I couldn’t be happier. We enjoy doing so many things together including travelling, going to the movies, spending time with friends, and playing video games. We were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, and after that went on our honeymoon to Ireland. We rented a car and did a road trip across the southern side of the country. The roads were super fun (sarcasm) to learn how to drive on. If we ever get the chance, I would love to go back as the people and places were all so amazing. Right now we are expecting our first child who is due in October. We are so excited and can’t wait until she gets here (any advice is welcome :)).

I enjoy where I work right now, and could see myself doing something similar to support my family, but I love making videos and whenever I get the chance I try and film something and post it to my YouTube channel. After I graduate from school me and my wife are going to be looking to move. She is from Oklahoma and some of her family still lives there and she would like to go back or get closer to them as the drive there is 18 hours. Right now we are living in Bountiful because I work out by the airport and my wife works downtown. Bountiful is in the middle so I can still go to school up in Ogden. I look forward to this class and helping my writing get that much better than it would be had I not taken this class.

  1. My favorite part of your entire post was that you met your wife on Tinder! I just went to the wedding of my best friend from high school who met his wife on the app as well. I think it's an awesome story to tell your kids. Congratulations!

  2. We were sealed in the Salt Lake temple too! It is the best place ever!!! And I agree with Morgan, don't be ashamed that you met on tinder. My husband was on his mission when my sister told me that I needed to write him because no one from home would. She was completely lying, he had plenty of people writing to him, but she knew I wouldn't write some random guy unless it was out of pity. Lol.

    1. I am not ashamed, just know the stigma that comes with meeting someone on that app outside of Utah. Also I love your story of how you and your husband met.
