Writing headlines... once again. I don't think I will ever write another headline again after this, but I guess you never know. I found it difficult to write them because it is very hard to think of a catchy headline in such few words and knowing that I would be graded hard didn't help much. I just felt like last week had been extended and here we are again!
I don't have much to say, I feel like 250 words isn't a lot but when it comes to writing about editing it is exhausting.

I also received my test back and noticed one of the (many) problems I got wrong. This stood out to me because I don't understand how I didn't catch my mistake. It was a sentence like "They gave her some candy on her birthday." This was how I left the sentence but I should've simplified it and made it make a little less cluttered by putting "On her birthday, she got candy." Or something similar.

The editing mistake I found this week was funny because I found it on Snapchat. It was the incorrect spelling of a name, which is a quite known name if you're into celebrity drama. They spelled Kanye West's name "Kayne" I don't know if any of you noticed this it is on the Snapchat's new advertising/news page that pops up as a story feed. But it was kind of ironic because who spells his name wrong?

  1. This mistake you found is hilarious!! I never would have noticed that because "Kanye" sounds like it should be spelt "Kayne." I would have made that mistake and I feel bad for the writer who spelt it wrong!!
