I don’t know about the rest of you, but I loved the
assignments this week! (Weird to say, but hey, when you find homework you like,
you need to rave about it!)
For me, finding different headlines was fun and going
through different sites such as MSN, New York Times, and KSL. I love to watch
and read the news anyway, so it was nice to kind of use a hobby of mine, to do
the homework. Some headlines I found this week were hilarious; some were more
serious, such as death.
A funny headline included about the newest Kardashian baby
(I don’t keep up with them, but they’re everywhere in the news!) I guess the
thing these days is doing a “mannequin challenge,” and they did it in the
delivery room (after the baby was born). The headline read: Blac Chyna accepts #MannequinChallenge
while in labor!
I found it funny because when I was in labor, the last thing
on my mind was making a social media sensation movie.
A more serious (and sad) headline read: Body of ‘Piano Guys’
daughter, Annie Schmidt found in Oregon, family says. I hate reading headlines
that are sad because they never make me want to read the actual article itself.
I hope everyone has a blessed week!
I totally agree that sad headlines make it hard for me to want to read the article. Thanks for your thoughts!
ReplyDeleteI love reading headlines and this assignment was fun this week! I agree about the sad headlines...and I saw the one about the daughter's body being found. It's tragic.
ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard at the Kardashian mannequin challenge. I came across that one as well, and I thought "of course they would do this." Thanks for the example!
