Keela Disterhaft- Week 10

WASHINGTON — The F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, told Congress on Sunday that he had seen no evidence in a recently discovered trove of emails to change his conclusion that Hillary Clinton should face no charges over her handling of classified information.

I chose this great lead because it’s a hot topic during the election campaign. I’m sure everybody knows so much about the email scandal involving Hilary Clinton. Every time you hear her name, the topic of her email is mentioned.

This was a huge announcement made today concerning the latest leak. It’s information, I think, a lot of people have been waiting to hear about. The election is only a couple days away and to have this latest leak was big news.

The article caught my attention primarily because of the headline. Once I clicked on the link within that first paragraph the author had delivered a great lead. He mentioned the who and what in that first sentenced.

For some people that would probably be enough for them to make their decision based on that one paragraph. It’s amazing how much information a person can pack into a single paragraph. I feel like this one lead carries a lot of weight simply because of the time of year that we’re in.
