Blog #11 11/11/16
We did not receive any instructions this week on what to
blog about. I decided to blog about the class. This has to be one of the hardest classes I
have had with some of the most work. I
feel like there is very little direction on what we are learning. I have no idea if I am doing anything correct
since I get standardized feedback that all of you are getting. I don’t know if this is because editing is so
hard or if it is because I am taking it online, but after week 11 I don’t feel
any more prepared than I did on the first week.
I would like some thoughts on this from the other students in this
class. I thought that this was what this
blog was going to be for, but was sadly mistaken. Now that there is no direction for the blog
this week, maybe some of you out there can help me understand what we are learning. Any ideas or tricks that are getting you
through this class?
I was told my blog wasn’t interesting, most likely because “blogging”
is something people usually do when they have something to say. I don’t really have anything good to say or
learn from concerning editing. Due to
this, I felt that statement was a bit unfair.
Also the fact that I hardly ever find an editing mistake was also
attacked about my blog. Well, I talk on
the phone most of the day and all my notes are short-handed and completely
private so I can’t take pictures and the only other print I see is scholarly,
so you can imagine how many errors I find there. Please make there be more that 24 hours a
day; not to be able to actually see my family, but to give me time to look through
print to find someone’s mistake. Yes, that is high on my priority list!
