More headlines this week. My brain was fried because I didn't do very well on the last headline assignment. I got feed back from my professor and I had a lot of work to do. I was nervous for this assignment because I didn't want to get the score I got on the past headline assignment. I did more studying and more reading to make sure I really understood the concept of writing a headline. My problems was making them too long. It was hard for me to make it grab readers attention with it being so short. I felt like when I made them that short, the headlines didn't make sense. After writing them over and over again, I finally got the hang of it and did much better on this assignment. I am glad this isn't my profession because I would probably get fired from my job if it was. I had fun doing these assignments even though they are homework. I think these were the most interesting assignments in this class.
The grammar error I found this week was on my aunts Facebook post. She writes emails for her job but yet every time she writes a Facebook post she has a grammar error in it and it is an obvious error. It drives me crazy!! I also want to call her and tell her to edit the post and fix the error but I am not brave enough. I don't know how her boss hasn't said something to her yet! I just hope her emails are a little more professional.
